The story and faces behind JEM's Bar Co.
Hello and welcome to JEM's Bar Co. We are the owners and co-founders...Jamie & Emilie!
You may have guessed from our introduction that our business name - JEM's Bar - is a culmination of our two names - Jamie & Em! After meeting on the Great Wall of China in 2017, we soon became firm friends and the rest is history! We have always been a very out-there couple, loving to go on new adventures, take on new challenges and all whilst enjoying a nice drink...or two! After the running of a bar at a Gala event fell on our shoulders, we fell in love with the hospitality industry and dreamt of one day running our own business.
During lockdown 1.0, Jamie took on the role as a Funeral Pallbearer. Whilst in a limousine one afternoon, he decided to make our dream a reality and JEM's Bar Co. was born. We designed and made our very own Prosecco & Donut walls which we started to hire out around Kent, operating a COVID safe doorstep drop off system to ensure that families, friends, room mates and loved ones could still celebrate special occasions within their households, despite living under restrictions. For Christmas 2020 we designed our very own drinks hampers and in the third lockdown of March 2021 we launched our very own Cocktail delivery service within Kent, delivering COVID-19 themed cocktails across the County, spreading some cheer!
Since then we have established ourselves within Kent as a reliable and trustworthy mobile bar company, willing to go the extra mile for our customers all whilst providing top quality service and cocktails. With staffed bars & event walls to hire, immersive cocktail masterclasses & cocktail delivery, we have all you need to add that touch of class to any special celebration or event you may have. JAMIE
Co-founder
Jamie works as a Business Admin Assistant by day, with JEM's Bar Co, taking up his evenings and weekends! He is the brains behind our cocktail recipes and finding new drinks that we can trial...making him our no. 1 taste tester too! Jamie has experience in customer facing roles working closely with John Lewis to ensure operations run smoothly, so you can be sure that on the day your special celebrations will have been thoroughly planned by our team.
His favourite cocktail is an Old Fashioned.
EMILIE
Co-founder
Emilie works as a Social & Digital Marketing Executive by day and has worked with companies such as KFC, BBC, Warner Media, John Lewis & Hilton Hotels alongside overseeing the management of high profile celebrities. She is the brains behind our marketing and publicity, from our social media and promotional materials all the way to your personalised menus!
Her favourite cocktail is a Pornstar Martini but her go to drink all year round is a Pimms & Lemonade!
